Dennis Jason Baron - Introducing Chief Disruptor - Haus of Mourning

Dennis brings a reverence for traditional dark athletics as he helps guide the neoteric evolution of Haus of Mourning.  An enigmatic figure in the London & NYC creative and hospitality industries since the early 2000s, Dennis now resides in Cincinnati at the Haus of Mourning Headquarters with his wife, Izzi.  

Photographer - London - Upon completing his Masters Degree at London School of Economics, Dennis assisted many of London's top photographers before beginning his career based primarily in music and fashion photography.

Darkroom and The Annex - NYC - After relocating to NYC, Dennis seized upon the opportunity to establish two of the Lower East Side's most celebrated venues of the period.  The Darkroom and The Annex became central to the burgeoning music scene of the time and became the regular haunts for creatives and musicians from around the world.  Many a dark night was had.

Cincinnati Bengals - In one of the twists and turns of life, Dennis began working in the stadium security world and is now entering his 5th season with the Cincinnati Bengals as the Regional Director of Security.  Luckily, this job is what brought him to Cincinnati.  

Haus of Mourning - Cincinnati -  After first meeting Izzi over a jukebox selection of the Gun Club, the two have taken on the world together.  As a result of that fateful encounter, they have joined forces at Haus of Mourning.  Izzi (a fourth generation jeweler) and Dennis' mutual interest in sourcing period jewelry and relics, resulted in the creation of Haus of Mourning, a dark lifestyle boutique that combines aspects of their lives.
